ACC’s Over a Cup of Tea Program presents, “The Creative Art of Coping in the Japanese-American Internment”

Description: At this informal evening discussion series, we will be remembering the anniversary of the Japanese-American Internment, featuring Assistant Professor of History Ellen Wu and Associate Professor of Studio Art Osamu James Nakagawa. Based on an NPR article (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=126557553), we will discuss how art has been used to express emotions during times of political and emotional stress. Light refreshments will be served.
