Culture of Care Week 2014

Culture of Care is an expansive effort of the members of the Bloomington and Indiana University communities to grow a culture that holds students, faculty, and the Bloomington community accountable for promoting safety and well-being for all its members.  The movement formed in response to a series of occurrences and trends which we perceived as a threat to the physical, social, and emotional health of many individuals.  By creating a shared foundational knowledge about bystander intervention, preventative measures, and steps to recovery in instances of drug and alcohol abuse, mental health issues, sexual assault, and disrespect, we can change the current circumstances.

More information can be found at, on Twitter @IUCultureOfCare, Facebook, and a blog will be launched immediately following Culture of Care Week April 6-11, 2014.
